Care for the Pelvis & Reproductive System

Fruit Bowl

My approach to reproductive healthcare is highly tailored to the individual. I acknowledge that some people feel very identified to their pelvic and reproductive functions, while others recognize this as a part of their body that they attend to just as any other organ system. When we start working together we begin by identifying what your goals are - whether that is to decrease pain and discomfort, reduce cyclical symptoms, improve libido, etc.

Initial assessment can range from discussing your symptoms, to requests for imaging and comprehensive hormonal assessment, depending on your needs.

Areas of focus:

Some of my particular interests are working with low sexual desire, chronic and recurrent vaginitis and UTIs, irregular cycles, PMS and perimenopause. I can provide HRT as indicated, excluding testosterone at this time.

**My clinical expertise in pelvic and reproductive health is primarily with people assigned female at birth. I consider myself body positive as well as LGBTQIA+, kink and polyamory friendly. â€‹â€‹

Please note:

  • I do provide pap collection and pelvic exams in-office if they are medically indicated and desired by you. These are done on an exam table without the need for stirrups. Most people find this to be more comfortable than a standard gynecologic setup, but please let me know if you have questions or concerns.

  • Optimal healthcare requires a team. I happily refer and collaborate with associated clinicians such as physical therapists and gynecologists who can offer their own expertise, as well as services I am not trained in or do not provide.

  • Examples of services I refer out for (list is not exclusive): IUD insertion, Nexplanon insertion and removal, colposcopy, ultrasound, pelvic floor physical therapy
